What We Do

With only 3500 practicing geriatricians serving more than 59 million people over 65 in the United States, Dr Liz feels a sacred duty to educate elders and those tasked to care for elders. Dr Liz Geriatrics is an education and advisory organization, providing effective, interesting, (and sometimes entertaining) educational knowledge and telehealth help to those on the front line caring for elders.

The eponymous Dr Liz built a successful house calls practice in the San Francisco Bay Area, with over 20,000 patients under her belt during her many decades of hands-on care.

The mission of Dr Liz Geriatrics is to take all of this experience and distill it into bite-sized, relevant education aimed at care givers in all parts of the spectrum – from the sister taking care of a sibling to a deeply experienced geriatric care nurse working in a big-city hospital. In support of this cause, Dr Liz Geriatrics also works directly with families and care facilities through their telehealth practice, helping to guide lives through passages both smooth and rocky.

Dr Liz Geriatrics has monthly professional CEU webinars and intended-for-the public workshops as well as a very strong social presence. We are currently building out systems to scale our educational offerings to the millions of people who need it – watch for some great changes coming quickly.

Dr Liz is currently the Medical Director for Silverado and Kensington Dementia Care Communities, as well as on the Scientific Panel for the Alzheimer’s Association. She has the experience and connections to help you manage the most difficult of dementia cases. Supporting her are a deeply experienced team, including additional Geriatric medicine, gerontology, social work/care consulting, educators, care managers, and more. We can work with any of your families, and guide them to excellent legal, financial, and medical resources.
