The Fraudsters are getting bolder. As an elder, you probably receive many unsolicited calls each day and someone is always trying to sell you something or in some way convince you to give them money! It’s an epidemic. BEWARE! Any time they ask for your social security number, Tax ID number, credit card number or bank account number, IT IS PROBABLY A FRAUD! Never give anyone on the phone this important information unless YOU called THEM and know that it is a legitimate person.
I just received this on my voicemail today. I don’t even have a State Farm account! So no chance I have to settle a claim! But how many people did they call who DO have a State Farm account and may have been swindled!
