MANAGEMENT

You are in charge of an Assisted Living Facility or Skilled Nursing Facility. Dr Liz is currently the Medical Director for Silverado and Kensington Dementia Care Communities, as well as on the Scientific Panel for the Alzheimer’s Association. In addition, she’s treated tens of thousands of patients directly. She and us in her team distill our extensive, directly relevant experience into interesting, high-impact training.

Along with educational material, we also provide direct help through our telehealth team. She has the experience and connections to help you manage the most difficult of dementia cases. Supporting her are a deeply experienced team, including additional geriatric medicine, gerontology, social work/care consulting, educators, care managers, and more. We can work with any of your patients and/or families. We regularly consult for a large variety of organizations with patients at varying stages of dementia. We help reduce costs, liability, resident agitation/pain, and importantly, frustration for everyone!

Our monthly webinars are accredited for CEUs by a number of organizations including:

  • NACCM (Care Managers)
  • NASW (Social Workers)
  • California Nursing Board
  • RCFE Administrators
  • Public Guardian: Center for Guardianship Certification
  • California Professional Fiduciaries Bureau

Unlike other education organizations, we acknowledge the complex web of medical, personal, and legal interactions that surround the elder – a web that makes your job complicated. Our goals are to reduce staff stress, reduce facility liability, and improve patient/resident quality of life. In conjunction with organizations like yours, we are developing a comprehensive training program to meet those goals – watch this space as we roll it out.
